2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay

People saying this Sucks GB bad choice well GB does not decorate the green room I bet the NFL has someone paid to come in and do this. I doubt they tell the city of GB hey go decorate for us. If city did pay NFL probably had a hand saying on they wanted it set up.

Call me crazy...he's overrated and busts. I think he's another measurables-only guy.
I think he reminds me of Drake London. Is London a bust? No, but for a top 10 pick he’s not a household name either. I think McMillan would be a good WR to pair with Love though because of the size and ball skills. All those times Love threw a 50-50 ball to Watson and he was too timid to get it, I think a guy like McMillan makes those plays so I see the vision there. Dunno. For better or worse I just don’t see them drafting a 6’0 type receiver in round 1, so it’s either McMillan or Higgins.

LOL I don't like Higgins either but we shall see. I think they draft Defense round 1.

In this draft I question if there is a super star WR to even be had. You might get a solid number 1 but when talk that the 1st pure WR taken (Not counting a guy like Hunter who you don't know what he ends up) might not end up in the top 10 shows you that this draft is not a great WR draft. Don't count Hunter you might get max 3 WR's take in the 1st round and lot of years you are having 7-8 WR's go round 1.

here's what lance zierlein said about him:
Possession receiver with the size and ball skills to create big wins deep. He’s a linear route-runner who wears press coverage early and coasts too often on deep routes, but he has a feel for uncovering underneath and can play over the top of cornerbacks for easier jump-ball wins. McMillan is instinctive with a feel for adjusting his routes and working back on throws to make the quarterback’s job easier. He needs to show more consistent play speed and physicality to protect his workspace. His elite ball skills set him apart, though, providing a higher floor as a “Z” option with mismatch value in the slot.

btw, zierlein also compared him to drake london.

“He got hurt in the spring and I don’t know that he ever made it back to 100 percent. The 2023 tape gives you a better idea of who he is.” – AFC scouting director

i read that the raiders could be taking him at #6.

If that’s the case then god bless them both. I’d be a little surprised though, usually WR who go that high have elite speed and twitch, I don’t think McMillan has that. Goes to show you the evaluations are all over the place, even within the top 10.

This is from Pete Schraeger’s final mock. Pete is pretty clued in and has been accurate in recent years. Last year he was adamant that GB was going OT, this year it’s WR. We shall see.

I think Golden is a guy getting to much hype for how fast he ran at the combine. Without that 40 I think he's being talked about as a second round pick.

Happens every year, stuff like this comes out last minute. Legit? Draft nonsense?

Well that has been knock on him before that. Said he won't watch tape and gets lazy at times and only goes hard when he wants to. Plus the guy is not a take the top off the defense we need with Watson out a 4.53-4.55 40 is pretty dam slow for a WR. Heard Polin the other day on NFL radio say when he ran drafts in Indy if you did not run at least a 4.5 you were not even on their board for a WR.

Is all this true or just teams trying to get this guy to fall?
