2025 Draft Prospects Thread

Saw that the Packers have not used a top 100 pick on a CB since Eric Stokes in 2021. Hopefully they take one in the first two rounds. If not keep that trend going because after the 1st couple rounds CB talent falls off a cliff. Might be one of the worst drafts for CB in a long time.

When I look at the Packers secondary, it seems like, when they're putting assets into a guy - cash or picks - they're taking some bigger dudes who are more rugged and can tackle. Nixon, now Hobbs, Williams and Bullard last year. They need a corner and have needed a corner but I don't know how far out of their comfort zone they're going to go to force one. Will Johnson might be a 4.6 guy - that's Ladarius Gunter territory (this goes to the comments above about GB's own athletic measurements for guys, we just don't know yet how they see it). Hairston is athletic as heck but he's small for them and he doesn't tackle. Carrington Valentine can't tackle much either but he's a 7th rounder. One of their frustrations with Jaire has been that he stopped tackling ever since that shoulder injury, they going to drop a 1st on a guy just like that? I don't know.

Oddly enough, I feel like this is going to be the year for a WR in round one, either trade up or trade down. I think the board value will be there and I think the positional value is there for them again too.
