Pros:

The 6-1, 298 pounder is looking to carry the momentum from his senior campaign and make an impact on an NFL roster. Ringo, throughout his career at Louisiana showed a knack for sacking the quarterback. He ended his college career with 21 sacks. Ringo has the explosiveness needed to be a 300 pound playmaker in the NFL but perhaps his greatest trait is his never ending motor. According to data tracked by Pro Football Focus, Ringo was able to pressure the quarterback at a greater rate than anyone else in the country.

Cons:

As a Ragin' Cajun, Ringo spent a majority of his time playing inside at defensive tackle, however he is being projected to play defensive end at the next level. It may take some time to adjust to the move. One other area of concern is the drop off in production from time to time. After seven sacks in his sophomore season, he was only able to get to the quarterback one time as a junior in 2013.

With a name like Ringo, this kid's gonna be a Starr. (Sorry)

It caught my attention that MM relayed that this kid was being compared to Mike Daniels when they were talking about him in the room.

Please, don't let that be a sign of them thinking of letting Mike get away to replace him with this Ragin' Cajun. :p
