Wisconsin football: Start times announced for Miami (Ohio), Troy games

Two more start times for Wisconsin home football games were announced Friday morning. On Sept. 12, the Badgers will kickoff at 11 a.m. CT against Miami (Ohio). On Sept. 19, they'll face Troy at 2:30 p.m..

The Miami matchup will be the first between the two teams and is expected to air on ESPN2 or ESPNU. Wisconsin will also being playing Troy for the first time in program history and that game will be televised on BTN.

Previously announced were the Badgers' primetime, 7 p.m., games against Alabama on Sept. 5 and Hawaii on Sept. 26, as well as Wisconsin's homecoming game against Purdue on Oct. 17 (11 a.m.) and two conference road games against Illinois on Oct. 24 (2:30 p.m.) and Maryland on Nov. 7 (2:30 p.m.).

MADISON, Wis. -- Kickoff times for Wisconsin's entire non-conference schedule have been set with the release Friday of game times for two Badgers home games.

Wisconsin's first meeting with Miami (Ohio) will kick off inside Camp Randall Stadium at 11 a.m. on Sept. 12. A week later, the Badgers will face Troy for the first time in a Sept. 19 contest that will start at 2:30 p.m.

The Miami game will air on either ESPN2 or ESPNU, while the matchup with Troy will be broadcast by BTN.

UW's season opener with Alabama in the AdvoCare Classic on Sept. 5 and its non-conference finale against Hawaii on Sept. 26 were both previously announced as 7 p.m. kickoffs. Game times have also been announced for the Badgers' Homecoming contest vs. Purdue on Oct. 17 (11 a.m.) and Big Ten road games at Illinois on Oct. 24 (2:30 p.m.) and at Maryland on Nov. 7 (2:30).
