Two Wisconsin targets made the visit to campus this week.

Madison's a beautiful place to visit in the summer, and two highly touted recruits had a chance to visit the University of Wisconsin campus this past week.

Four-star linebacker unofficially visits UW

Rancho Cucamonga (Los Oso), Calif., linebacker Bryce Youngquist took in Madison on Thursday, coming away "impressed" with Wisconsin in a visit that will make his commitment decision tougher ($). The outside linebacker is ranked a four-star prospect by 247Sports' composite rankings and the No. 11 outside linebacker in the nation. The 6'1, 215-pound Youngquist also runs a verified 4.57 40-yard dash.

After Youngquist toured the Badgers' facilities, he traveled down to Norman, Okla., for a visit with the Sooners. The four-star recruit appears to be close to a decision, with 247Sports and Scout.com showing Arizona State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington State and Wisconsin to be the top programs Youngquist is considering. The Ducks hold all the 247Sports crystal ball predictions.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey takes in Madison

We mentioned on Thursday the circumstances surrounding Southlake (Carroll), Texas, athlete Lil'Jordan Humphrey trying to visit Wisconsin this week while in the state for the NY2LA Summer in Jam basketball tournament just north of Milwaukee.

Well, the 6'4, 192-pound high school running back/projected college wide receiver did make the trip west to Madison on Thursday -- a visit Humphrey that said "felt like home" ($).

In the video below from McNamara, Lil'Jordan noted the family-orientated atmosphere to the program, a solid relationship with wide receivers coach Ted Gilmore and his thoughts on the facilities.

"I just really loved the place," Humphrey said.

The composite three-star athlete, given four stars and ranked the No. 284 recruit in the nation by Scout.com, said in the video he will visit California and Texas in the coming weeks and has no favorites. He has offers from both schools, along with Ole Miss, Duke, Colorado, Iowa and Washington.
