Does Wisconsin have a chance to land a talented defensive tackle from Illinois? Plus, the Badgers make another top 10 for a heralded recruit.

The Wisconsin Badgers remain in contention for some highly-touted recruits as we swing into June. On Thursday, Roselle (Lake Park), Ill., defensive tackle Mike Panasiuk announced released his top three -- naming the Badgers along with Penn State and Michigan State as his leaders.

The 247Sports composite three-star prospect -- ranked the 39th-best composite defensive tackle in the nation and recently invited to The Opening Finals in early July -- received an offer from Wisconsin in April after visiting Madison. The Badgers made the cut for Panasiuk's Top 6 back on May 29.

It also appears he's planning to commit next Monday at 9 a.m. CT.

Right now, the moment is gaining in the Spartans' favor, who offered just Thursday. 247Sports' Crystal Ball projections show a very strong trend towards Panasiuk heading to East Lansing since then.

Badgers make top 10 for Trevon Sidney

Composite four-star athlete Trevon Sidney released his Top 10 Thursday evening, with the Badgers also making his Top 10 list. (h/t to Rivals' Dan Broughton and 247Sports' Evan Flood).

The talented La Puente (Bishop Amat), Calif. recruit -- another The Opening Finals recipient -- runs a Nike SPARQ-verified 4.41 shuttle. His Hudl tape shows a reliable receiver which should translate to a reliable cornerback with soft hands depending upon which side of the ball he plays on.

Khaleke Hudson to visit Wisconsin this weekend

Earlier this week, McKeesport, Penn. linebacker Khaleke Hudson announced via Twitter Tuesday he plans to visit Madison this upcoming weekend:

The composite three-star linebacker has now been offered by 31 schools, with Rutgers being the latest on Thursday. The Badgers will have to contend with the likes of Penn State, UCLA, Michigan State and Maryland for his services. Will his teammate, composite three-star linebacker Tymar Sutton, visit soon as well?
