17th ranked bowl for the Badgers. What does happen when you go bowling is that you get some extra practice time, which bodes well for next year. Lord only knows this team needs more practice, and confidence on offense.

In normal times we could have got 3 weeks or so of practice in but unfortunately not this year, what maybe a week. It’s usually that time where underclassmen get reps and “emerge” and again unfortunately not this year

I would have totally understand if the team wanted to opt out of the game and at the same time I support them playing. The kids have to be so mentally spent but at the same time they wanted one more shot so who can blame them

Unlike past bowl games, Wisconsin will travel to Charlotte and the bowl game the day before and then depart following the game.

It’s a road game. No activities, no band , no fans. This was expected

Best Bowl Destinations.....not Trip Advisor but it is what it is
  • Pasadena (no brainer for multiple reasons)
  • Outback Bowl Tampa (personal favorite for multiple reasons)
  • Orange Bowl Miami (yeah it’s fun)
  • Fiesta Bowl Phoenix (on my bucket list) note: attended a non Badger Bowl game there (Fiesta) in Tempe not new venue
  • Music City Bowl (Nashville is a fantastic town )
  • Cotton Bowl (moving game to Arlington sucks)
Not even a consideration
  • Citrus Bowl (awful stadium, awful location, overrated town)
  • Jacksonville (see above )

The pinestripe bowl seems an awful bowl. Couple years ago when Bucky went it seems even Badger fans who travel well to bowl games did not want to go to NYC in the winter as it seemed there were tons of empty seats.
