Get ready to get excited about practice…yes we’re talking about practice. In fact, we’re talking about the 15th and final practice of spring football for the Wisconsin Badgers if we’re being exact.

On Wednesday, the Badgers announced the format and scoring situations for the annual spring game, which will take place on Friday night.

Let’s just say it may be a disappointing Friday night for those in attendance and watching on BTN.

The practice is scheduled to be aired on BTN starting at 6:30pm CT, with gates to Camp Randall Stadium opening up at 5:30. According to a release by the athletic department, the practice will have two hour-long sessions.

First will be what they are describing as a “regular Friday practice schedule” in which the team will do individual and team drills to start things off. Then we’ll get to see a scrimmage for an hour following those drills.

Scoring was also announced for the annual Cardinal and White game, and let’s just say good luck to the defense in winning this one. The offense will represent the Cardinal team and the defense will be the White team, with the scoring going like this:

OFFENSE

Touchdown – 6 points
Field Goal – 3 points
20+yard play – 1 point
3 consecutive first downs – 1 point

DEFENSE

Defensive touchdown – 6 points
Interception or fumble recovery – 6 points
Sack – 1 point
3-and-out – 1 point
Missed PAT/FG – 1 point
