Tyler Biadasz not performing drills at the Combine

seems to be a trend this year. there are several high-profile prospects that have only shown up for interviews - including the presumed #1 pick.

Makes me wonder if this trend will do to the Combine what top pro’s skipping the pro bowl game have done to that.

making it irrelevant

I don't know that things have changed that much or that they will change. There have always been some top guys who have skipped workouts or only done selective things. Most of the rest of the guys who skip are doing it for medical reasons. With Biadasz having had shoulder surgery it makes sense to skip the workouts until he feels he's completely healed.

Lot of top guys at the draft will skip combine workouts to instead work on a more scripted pro day were they can control the results more and look better.

The combine is one part of the process and the most important part is the interview. Teams have 2-3 years of film on these guys. Don't let one 40 time or drill make you overreact one way or another...agents know the drill

Combine is for those trying to make their bones. Some players already have. They prefer the smaller shows, where they can charm everyone with their skills, without comparison. For WRs, etc, being able to have your own guy throwing to you don't hurt either.
