Stafford is done, ARod should be next.

I can only imagine where this will end up. I wonder if the Packers will extend the contract for three years, or four? We know it will probably be his last contract. How much will be guaranteed, and how much will be back loaded?

If I was Rodgers, I'd want a ton up front, and fairly meager pay each year, to insure I got the most out of it that I could. His objective should be to load his bank account now, and then play for chump change by comparison, each year. It would make it less likely they'd dump him for a young guy because they'd still be paying out the front money on a prorated basis.

Now, the question is, can you add 3 or 4 years and project that money out there, or do you have to eat a lot of it early on? I'm not certain.

I am guessing Matt Ryan will get deal done first at 5 years 150 million with 100-110 guaranteed 60-70 SB

Rodgers then off that deal signs a 4 years at 128 million with 80-90 guaranteed and 50-60 SB
