Packers Pre-draft visits

IIRC He was injured in the opening kick off the first preseason game.

Flanagan flew in his parents and girlfriend for the Packers-Steelers exhibition game in August 1996.
"You come out of the tunnel to all the cheers of the fans, with that song playing that they always play. It was awesome."
What happened next was not.
Green Bay won the coin toss and elected to receive the opening kick. As a blocker on the wedge for the kickoff return unit, Flanagan was on the field for the game's first play.
"I had a chance right away to do something with everyone watching," Flanagan said. "Instead, I was blocking for the returner and a Steelers player tried a diving tackle and met my leg instead of the runner.
"He didn't make the tackle, but the outside of my ankle touched the outside of my knee. That's not good."
Flanagan's leg, both the tibia and fibula, was broken. He was carted off the field and taken into the locker room.
