Khryi Thornton did he ever end up playing a down in the NFL?

"Lions claimed DT Khyri Thornton off waivers from the Patriots.
A 2014 third-round pick of the Packers, Thornton has now been waived twice in the last two months. He will try to earn a role at the back end of the Lions' defensive line rotation."

I guess he's still technically on the Packer payroll.

Looking at that list, it will be interesting to see who else actually gets offered any kind of money this off-season. Crosby will be looking to get paid, Hayward, Neal and maybe Raji. Everyone else is a veteran's minimum type in my opinion.

I think odds of Raji being back is under 20% now with Guion back in plus having guys like Pennel and Boyd.

Paying Datone Jones, $2,455,282 ... ouch sick(
Well, a sack is worth about 1M in the NFL, and Datone had 3 along with 27 other pressures. He's rather effective rushing the passer per snap, showed some versatility as elephant OLB, plus had his best season vs the run. 2.5M for that isn't a ton.

Very interested to see what he can do in a contract year.

As a draft and develop team I don't think Ted and Mike are all that eager to let former first round picks just walk unless they are injury busts like Harrell and Sherrod.
