The Green Bay Packers will host the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football at 7:25 p.m. CDT.

The Packers are hosting the Chicago Bears on a Thursday night for the third consecutive season.
The division rivals square off in a prime-time contest for the 12th consecutive season.
The Packers have won seven of the last nine meetings against the Bears at Lambeau Field, including a 26-10 victory last season in Week 7.
Green Bay has outscored Chicago, 240-120, in the last nine games, scoring 20-plus points in seven of those contests.
Thursday will mark game No. 195 in the NFL’s oldest rivalry. The series is tied at 94-94-6, which includes two playoff games (1-1).

This Thursday’s game will come nearly 60 years after Lambeau Field (originally called Green Bay City Stadium) hosted its first regular season game, a matchup between the Packers and Bears on Sept. 29, 1957.

Under Head Coach Mike McCarthy, the Packers are 16-7 against the Bears during the regular and postseason, including wins in 12 of the last 14 games.
In all but one of the 16 wins under McCarthy, Green Bay has scored at least 20 points.
In the first 15 seasons of the NFC North (2002-16), the Packers (nine) and Bears (three) accounted for 12 division titles.

The Packers have won their first two home games for the fifth consecutive season.
Including the postseason, Green Bay has won six consecutive games at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay has won at least two of its first three games for the third consecutive season and for the eighth time in the last 11 seasons.
The Packers have won eight of their last nine regular-season games.
LB Clay Matthews (74.0) is a sack away from passing Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (74.5, 2000-08) for the most in franchise history (since 1982).
Green Bay will travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys in Week 5. Including the playoffs, it will be the fifth straight season the Packers and Cowboys have met.

WITH THE CALL
Thursday night’s game will be televised to a national audience on CBS and NFL Network, as well as streamed on Amazon, with play-by-play man Jim Nantz and analyst Tony Romo handling the call from the broadcast booth and Tracy Wolfson and Jay Feely reporting from the sidelines.
In Wisconsin, CBS affiliates around the state, including WFRV (Ch. 5) in Green Bay and WDJT (Ch. 58) in Milwaukee, will carry the Thursday night contest.
Milwaukee’s WTMJ (620 AM), airing Green Bay games since November 1929, heads up the Packers Radio Network that is made up of 50 stations in five states. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren (analyst) call the action. McCarren first joined the team’s broadcasts in 1995 and enters his 23rd season calling Packers games. After originally being paired together in 1999, McCarren and Larrivee enter their 19th season of broadcasts together.
Westwood One Sports will air the game across the country. Ian Eagle (play-by-play) and Tony Boselli (analyst) will call the action and Scott Graham will host pregame and halftime shows.
The broadcast is also available on Sirius Satellite Radio (WTMJ feed).

OL is in tatters right now at the T position. Chicago DL is no joke either. We can easily, very easily lose this game. Our D is going to have to step up in this one and keep it close like they did Sunday. Chicago will line up and play power football. Sitton will be hungry to punish his old team. Really need to stop the run and keep it close. Thinking 17-14 Pack, could be the same score the other way though.

Agree with rp. This is gonna be another battle. The OL issues make this a close game. I'm hoping MM can game plan an effective attack.

I watched part of the Bears game Sunday. Going against the grain..... blowout Green bay 31 Chicago 13

They have zero passing game and you can run the ball on that defense Pittsburg didn't try. As a matter of fact the Steelers just plain ran out of gas in that game. GB doesn't have great depth but Chicago has none and they played an OT game in the heat as well.

Week four and I have no feel for this Packers team. I keep hoping things will change and enlightenment comes to MM.
Would like to believe we have a running game, but who is our runner? Monty and Williams are so meh. Neither has game breaking ability and both look tentative so far. Would usually wait to see the injury report, but it's so bad it doesn't matter now. Hopefully we won't have new guys introducing themselves in the huddle. Could this be the game
ARod starts hitting Adams on the quick slant? How 'bout Marty starts catching the ball? Does Allison replace Cobb as our third WR allowing Jordy to move to the slot? Friday morning will see the answers. ARod owns the Bears though, Packers 27-16.

Packers are still hurting could be out with all those guys again plus Bulaga. This is a OL that is hurting and struggling. Packers right now are a one dimensional team. Montgomery is struggle to get yards and pass block. Rodgers got hit a lot against Cincy and he can't keep taking the beatings if you want to keep him upright all 16 games. The one good thing is the Bears really have nothing at WR unlike the Bengals who had Green. Though the Bears have been playing everyone tough this year. I think the injuries on this team still show and it is a hard fought game but Packers will win 34-27.

With the short week and type of injuries, I don't see Bak, Bulaga, Daniels, Perry or Cobb playing. MM will want to give them extra rest. We have no running game. We've had no cohesion on offense so far, just fits and starts. I'd be shocked if we scored more than 2TDs in this game.

This is going to be a tough game and difficult to predict a winner.

The Bear's offensive strength is the Packer's defensive weakness. Green Bay ranks 25th in run defense so expect Chicago to attempt to control the game with Howard and Cohen. In addition, Green Bay's offensive weakness is the Bear's strength and that is the Packer's decimated OL against the Bear's sack ability.

However, Green Bay has Rodgers, they generally win at home, and the Bears suck away. So I'm going Packer's win 17-14 because of home-field advantage.
