Agreed, this game is also no longer a gimme due to all the injuries. We should definitely still win though.

And this is what happened and there are still fans complaining because we didn't mop the floor with the Lions personnel. You don't get style points in the NFL if you win ugly. This isn't the NCAA. In the end the W is all that matters.

Dead horse, but I disagree. The way in which they win can tell you something about their overall capability. In 2011, many were saying it was great that the offense was running the opponents out of the stadiums, but if they ever failed to put up big points, they were in deep trouble. KC to end the streak and NYG to end the playoffs showed that was the case. Given their banged up status, I'm not sure the close finish was as discouraging as it otherwise might have been, but I still maintain that squeaking by can eventually catch up to a team.
