Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Thursday right-hander Matt Garza had left the club to be with pregnant wife Serina in Fresno, Calif., and with the club’s blessing would not return this season.

This guy needs to decide what he's gonna do. Being with his wife is an excuse because he refuses to pitch out of the pen. It's fine to tell him to just go home because at this point his attitude is crap and has the potential to be toxic with all the young guys around. He needs to get his poop together before next spring otherwise I might just be tempted to tell him to stay home if I'm the new GM.
