It probably won't end there. Every team in baseball has stretches where they play above and below their talent level for stretches at a time, but 162 games over 6 months usually weeds out the pretenders. This is just part of the evening out process for the Brewers, who are not a first-place worthy squad. It was fun while it lasted.
