Last season everyone talked about the Wisconsin Badgers murderers row of a schedule. The Badgers didn’t listen. This season, everyone is pointing out how much easier UW’s schedule is to maneuver against. Once again, the Badgers aren’t listening. It shouldn’t be surprising, as head coach Paul Chryst has never really bought in to all the talk in the media and the hype machine...

For coaches, and players, it's one week at a time. For fans, looking at the schedule is a "projection game," as we start to figure out how well our team will play, and over certain stretches of the season, that can be tough. Last year, we hit murderers row in games, and the Badgers did pretty good considering how battered they were going through that stretch.

There's no "patsy schedule" in the Big 10, because it's hard nosed football every week, and the weakest teams in the league have been known to bloody some lips along the way, and pull out some wins nobody thought possible.

Since this year is the first year we'll really see a substantial number of Chryst players, it's going to see how well they recruited, and how well the coaches can prepare them for a tough season.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm hoping they can win the West, especially with the major changes on both sides of the ball, since last year.
