The former Packers star quarterback admits to procrastinating when it comes to his Hall of Fame induction preparation.
In just over a month, the Green Bay Packers take part in the annual Hall of Fame game against the Indianapolis Colts. That leaves very little time for the 2016 Hall of Fame class's headliner, Brett Favre, to prepare for his induction. According to the legendary quarterback himself, he hasn't even started work on his speech.

To the surprise of no one, the soon-to-be Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback hasn't quite dotted all his i's and crossed all his t's as it pertains to his induction speech. Though he'll likely put something together before the big day, Favre's track record heavily suggests that the Packers legend will improve a good deal of his speech, something he's done so well in the past.

Packers president Mark Murphy vocalized what the public has understood for years -- the preseason kind of stinks. "I think one thing we can all agree on is the quality of play in the preseason is not good," Murphy said. "Players don't need game time, they don't need preseason games to get ready for the season. Certainly not four."
While some preseason action offers utility, the players certainly don't need four games of which the starters play only a handful of drives. The question isn't whether the league eventually shortens the preseason, but rather if it does so without adding to the regular season.
