Happy Friday, Green Bay Packers fans! Yesterday brought to a close the Packers' OTAs for 2016, leaving the team with just one more week of spring practice before the roster breaks up for the summer break. Acme Packing Company will be on hand for at least one day of minicamp practice next week (weather permitting), so stay tuned for updates from Ray Nitschke Field.
In the final edition of Cheese Curds for the week, we find the top two on-field presences for the Packers - Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy - getting the headlines. One is doing so for the way he is handling his young receiving corps and tight ends, groups which combined have only three players with more than three years of NFL experience. The other is shuffling responsibilities on game day a bit once again, though he has no intention of giving up control of the offense again in 2016.
Finally, we are thrilled to inform you that we will have some big plans for next week as we lead up to Father's Day. APC will be hosting a couple of exclusive interviews with Packers players throughout the week, so stay tuned for more details over the next few days!

The head coach gave up playcalling last year in large part to focus more heavily on game management, but had to take back control of the offense late in the year. Now, he is resisting assigning any title regarding game management to an assistant, but expects to have more help in that area than he did previously - especially when statistics and analytical trends are involved.
