A rookie Packer looks to make a big step forward in his second year, while a Packer legend is making a quick transition to television now that his playing days are behind him.
Former Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders defensive back Charles Woodson was an excellent player on the field for both franchises, but it is his class off the field that made him a living legend for those two franchises and across the NFL as a whole. It should come as no surprise, then, that his first gig after retiring from playing in the NFL is to get one of the higher-profile analysis jobs that will allow him to stay around the game that he loves and maintain the relationships he has built in the league.
Meanwhile, a player at the beginning of his NFL career is looking for a big step up from the practice squad, where he spent his 2015 season. He has a great mentor in Mike Daniels, a great attitude, and some great ability just waiting to be harnessed. If he can take the second-year jump that head coach Mike McCarthy talks to much about, Christian Ringo could end up being a steal from last year's draft.
