Brewers add three players to 40-man roster

The Brewers took two players in the Rule 5 draft of unprotected minor-league prospects — second baseman Colin Walsh from Oakland’s organization and right-handed reliever Zach Jones from Minnesota. The team also acquired third baseman/outfielder Garin Cecchini from Boston for cash considerations.

Walsh may get a chance to unseat Gennett. Hit for average and gets on base Not a typical "Brewer" player, but I suspect that the old days of living and dying by the long ball may be over. Sounds like Stearns may want to build a different kind of roster.
