The Wisconsin wrestling team is tabbed as the No.14 team in the nation in FloWrestling’s preseason team rankings.

UW, who finished last season ranked No.13, was one of eight Big Ten teams earning recognition in the first rankings of the season, including No.1 Penn State.

Other conference squads in the rankings included: Iowa (No.3), Michigan (No.4), Ohio State (No. 6), Nebraska (No.10), Illinois (No.13) and Northwestern (No.19).

Wisconsin has six dual meets on the schedule against teams that are featured in the preseason rankings.

The Badgers’ Isaac Jordan (165 pounds) is ranked as the No.15 wrestler in the land in Flo’s Pound-for-Pound rankings.

UW begins its season with the Red/White dual on Oct. 24, before welcoming NCAA Division III UW-Whitewater to Madison on Nov. 12.
