Badgers defense spoils Illini homecoming hopes

Apparently you can win games with just your defense. The Wisconsin Badgers defense held Illinois to just 10 points and while the offense struggled for large portions of the game, the Badgers came away 24-10 winners. The win was Wisconsin’s eighth in a row over the Illini, extending the longest win streak for either team in the series’ history. It also marked an 8-0 start to the season...

Defense alone won't beat OSU or PSU. If Hornibrook doesn't become a complete QB over the next few weeks, we're going to see our chances of playing for a national title totally destroyed.

He just doesn't seem to learn that you "do not" stare down your intended receiver from the time you get the ball until you throw it. He also doesn't understand that you throw to a place designated, and the receiver gets there. He keeps waiting to throw until his receiver is open, and that window closes quickly, so he's no longer open.

I'm beginning to think he's really not the answer, and as a Sophomore, probably never will be. Time to look at Coan, and others.
