    All those private schools in D5 are a friggin joke... it's going to start the multiplier debate all over again.

    Parochial schools always have an edge because they don't have school boundaries. They recruit the best athletes, and for many it's a ticket to the next level in college. I remember watching the Racine St. Catherine's basketball mill during the 50s and 60s, when so many kids went on to play college ball, and some great careers in the NBA. Having a direct link to Marquette University, and more than a passing interest from Notre Dame and Loyola-Chicago was a blessing for a lot of those kids.

    I have a hunch we're going to see them moving up a notch, except at the top. Fair or not, I don't know.
