Official Week 10 Green Bay vs Pittsburgh Thread

Not sure what to add. Seems like Pitt is rolling. So they look past the Packers and the Packers sneak a win? Highly doubtful. How do you pick a score when you think of a Hundley led offense? Thought the defense played well last week but in the end, the score was 23-0. I can't see them scoring enough but just in case, 23-20 Packers. Pittsburgh Macho is going back home so he'll have extra motivation. Whatever that means. Packers in an upset. That is, unless the Steelers score more points.

Nothing like a commitment to "we're gonna win this one!" rofl(

At least we still have a sense of humor. That usually goes first, as fans. But, as we said years ago, watching guys like Dennis Patrick play QB for the Packers; "Dilly, dilly!"

Fanboy checking in........
Perfect world= Hundley gets dinged on a scramble by Watt. No scouting on Callahan- he just starts slinging it. Drawing up plays in the huddle. DickRod catches a hail mary at the end of the first half and we lead at the break 10-9. Rapelisberger gets sacked by Fackrell to open the third and Fack rolls up Ben's knee. Sorry. Suddenly Collinsworth starts talking about Jumpin Joe Callahan and the 'spunky' Packers defense. Our Defensive huddle flips the bird to Capers and starts calling their own alignments. Three guys guard A Brown and four guys follow L Bell. Packers win 16-15 in one of the ugliest games of the year, but it gets huge 'train crash' viewership.

Then I wake up just before kickoff and watch the Packers lose 31-10. WE SCORE TWICE!!!

Pass the 'shrooms. We all need some of that stuff! hgh)

I am bonafide lunatic nuts(( I saw that their HC is 9-19 coming off a 14 plus point win, plus they just lost a starting OL to a suspension. Screw it...... Green Bay 31-23 over Pittsburgh. The fans start all that crazy playoff talk until the Browns beat us at home !

I don't get it! Why aren't you guys sharing the 'shrooms? Reminds me of an old song. When a season is going like this, you just gotta have something to plug in to, to make things better!

Take a trip and never leave the farm

Who's that?

Sorry about that. Dennis Patrick was an old friend. He died in a fire.

The Packer QB was Frank Patrick. His claim to fame is that in a 1971 preseason game against the Bears, in Milwaukee, he stepped out of the back of the end zone to give the Bears a safety, and the win, by a score of 2-0.

He wasn't in the least bit an NFL QB. At 6-7, and only about 215#, he was a string-bean. They tried to say he was heavier, but he wasn't. He was so thin, by comparison to other football players, that they probably just put a flashlight behind him to shine through for x-rays.

Steelers need to extend their division lead and keep up with the Pats and this Packer team is the perfect punching bag. Hit the Packers early go up by more than a td and Packers collapse. Steelers on cruise control by end of the third. 35-14 steelers.
