Official Week 11 Green Bay vs Minnesota Thread

FWIW, MM just said he's spent the majority of his time this week with the offense rather than splitting with D and ST. He won't call plays but sounds like he's more involved with the players on that side of the ball.

We don't get to hear much about players relationship with Clements. Wonder if that is some of the 'rub'. Is Arod checking out of too many plays? Does Clements get reigned in by MM and not allowed to open up the play calls? With the effort displayed at times you have to wonder if there is eye rolling going on in the huddle at some of the plays. Since that was the big change this off season we don't really hear much about it from Clements side.

Sounds like Montgomery dropped out of practice today after apparently re-aggravating his injury. Have to think that rules him out this week. That's unfortunate. Was kind of hoping he might be the weapon Rodgers is missing.

jordy nelson is the weapon rodgers is missing.

Green Bay — The Packers held a padded practice Thursday designed to work on, among other things, a number of team run and inside run sessions that would offer plenty of reps for tailbacks Eddie Lacy and James Starks.

Yeah, no logical reason to expect the Packers to win this one based on how they've been playing. Just a hunch or wishful thinking that I'm hopeful they can win this week. Of course 14 names on the injury report makes it an even tougher argument to make.

even with injuries they should theoretically be able to win this... but they all have to be mentally on the same page.

Ready for this weekend's big NFC North clash? Make sure you can tune in this weekend by checking out our Game Primer.

It's gut-check time for the Green Bay Packers. Three straight losses have dropped them into second place in the NFC North, with a string of three more divisional games coming up over a 12-day span. First up is the team's chance to pull back into a tie for the division lead as well as an opportunity to get a head-to-head win over the team ahead of them in the standings - the Minnesota Vikings.

For Packers fans, it is now long past time for the team's offense to bounce back into the shape expected of the unit after three straight losses and six straight underwhelming performances. Meanwhile, the defense needs to start getting to the quarterback again.

What schematic adjustments have the coaches made to get the team back on track? Use the broadcast information in our Game Primer below to tune in and find out.

Well last week. I predicted a narrow, close, ugly game with the Packers coming out, barely, on top.

This week I see the Packers playing much better, and I predict a very close game, a dogfight. I don't know if they'll win or not, but there will be much better play this week. gopackgo
