Wisconsin Football looks to stay undefeated as they travel to Evanston to take on the Northwestern Wildcats this Saturday. One week after a dominating performance against the Michigan Wolverines, Wisconsin football hopes to carry their momentum into Ryan Field on Saturday afternoon. The Badgers drubbed Michigan 49-11 in front of a national audience. Meanwhile, the […]

I think we're going to see a bigger dose of Mertz throwing the ball. They'll also use the jet sweeps to open up the middle to give our RBs more running room. Those sweeps were a killer against Michigan, so Northwestern will be keying on the motion men more than Harbaugh did.

I think the Badgers want wider margins of wins to climb in the polls, just in case they should get a shot at OSU, and find a way to pull off a win against them. Getting into that final 4 playoff would be a real boost for them.

I realize this is almost impossible against OSU, but don't tell the Badger players that. They'll squeeze ya like an ugly pimple.

Badgers 38 Wildcats 17 (I was tempted to say 10 for NW, but Chryst won't hurt them that badly. Not that kind of coach.)

Throw on 1st down early and often. NU defense on 2nd and 3rd is damn good. Stay ahead of the chains
UW 24 NU 10

Well, I guess that ends all that silly talk I heard before the game about wanting to be in the championship hunt. A little less talking and dreaming and a little more execution and focus please. The offense feasted on two of the worst defenses around in their two wins. Not the same game today. I mean it's almost impossible nowadays for a decent team to score only 7 points in a game. Of course it would help if you don't turn it over a half dozen time.

I don't know what it is about playing at Northwestern, but the Badgers lose there far more often than they should. Not sure they were the better team today, but they have been in a number of other years.

Hankwitz has PC number.... he knows us offensively inside and out. Ever since UW fired him and he went to NW he's been a thorn in our hinder.

This also shows some of the recruiting flaws the last 2-3 year (or more) especially at WR. Davis and Pryor were average at best and when Dunn went out your down to a true freshman and a hot mess. There were questions on offense before the first snap vs Illinois and now a bit more exposed. Lot a youth which will improve, how much remains to be seen.

Wish they would have. I think it would have put NW on its heels a bit and maybe changed things. Maybe not, but I did not like the play calling especially when it was a real make it or brake it play.

Well when your 1 & 2 WR are out its not ideal. And your TE is banged up. They turned the ball over 5 times. And how many penalties? We were behind the chains way to much. We feasted on some pedestrian defenses. Move on, next game
