2018 Packers Free Agency Thread

maybe it's just me, but i don't really see many free agents that would be good additions to the packers this year. even worse, the ones i do see are players that will have multiple teams that are interested. not a very good year for gutekunst to have to try to make his mark. i'm not really expecting much from free agency this year.

About the only thing out there in FA for the Packers is camp fodder, and possibly one or two back ups where experience might be needed.

Do agree this is a very very weak year for FA lot of washed up vets and just backup quality guys out there this year but looking at it I think these guys could help team at a not break the bank prices

Matt Moore QB-Would be vast improvement as a backup QB

Dee Ford OLB-Had 10 sacks in 2016 and not a so great 2017 but did have back injury that effected him most of year

Anthony Hitchens-Only 26 years old could be a not so expensive pickup that could pay off

Wilkerson coming to town tomorrow, what would you pay?
Per overthecap (https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/green-bay-packers) we have just north of $15M available with TE and OLB as bigger needs.
Hankins signed for 3 years $9M per year with Colts for last year as comparison.

i sure hope we don't pay that kind of money for a guy who has averaged four sacks per season for the last two years.

Agree my offer to him 1 year low base say 3-5 million were he can earn like another 5 million in incentives that are put on his production.

That would be very reasonable. Show me what you got, and you get paid for it.
