Good idea, I am partial to Dorsey. Like what he did in KC by mixing rookies and some FA. Defensive mind set and knows the tradition in GB.

I agree with this. I'm so tired of watching a defense that I never have confidence in. I'd be thrilled with Schneider too, for the exact same reasons. I'm getting a little suspicious about why nobody else is hiring Wolf or Gutekunst.

I like Dorsey because he's done it before. Probably the "safe" choice. Wolf might surprise. I think he could be good, but I'd like to see a little more seasoning for him before he gets a shot.

I know Dorsey checks a lot of the boxes, but why did KC let him go if he was doing such a good job? I've heard from friends down there that his office politics are terrible and he may just be a Scout, a very good scout, but not really a GM. I do think we will pick from someone in house. Have a gut feeling it would come down to Russ Ball, Eliot Wolf and Alonzo Highsmith. I go with Ball because he is our salary cap guru and it seems the consensus around the league that if he doesn't get the nod after TT he may move on to another team. He has spread out into the scouting and other aspects of operations over the last couple years, I just think he is the next best candidate.

Dorsey. The guy has built a competitive roster on both sides of the ball that doesn't revolve around a star QB. I think he gives the best chance to get over the top with AR in the next couple years. It's hard to know what happened in KC but you have to remember there is a strong willed owner there and a strong willed HC, lot of willpower at the top of that org. Maybe his office politics aren't great but as a first time GM he's going to learn from these experiences. Look at some of the crap TT did and had to learn from and hell, still does.

IMO Wolf is overrated. All fans are homers who love him because of his father. They think father like son. Wolf has now had a couple interviews I think and has not got a job. So perhaps Wolf is not the hot shot prospect everyone thinks he is.

My guess is that Ted would like to retire after another year or two and move into a scouting job. I think that's his secret fantasy - to do nothing but scout college guys 24/7/365. Give him the title "Executive College Scout/Wide Receivers" and send him all over the country.

In the meantime, will it be Ball or Eliot? My guess is Ball. Wolf-the-Wunderkind would play well in some markets; less so in small-town Green Bay.

Can you "trade" a guy like Eliot Wolf for a draft pick?

Of those listed I went Dorsey. Not convinced that Wolf jr is going to be anything more then a pro personal guy in this league. I really wanted John Schneider but the Seahags have that wrapped up for now.
