AR Prediction Thread

In my opinion, like a lot of media, he thinks he's more important than he is. He really is only reporting. He's not doing it. He's crying over Rodgers wanting control when that's what he wants but will never get it because he's just reporting what other people do and really isn''t part of doing it.

I still don't believe Rodgers is worth nearly as much as some people want to believe. A first this year is at the most what they'll get. Possibly a 2nd or 3rd next year, depending on whether he plays, and how well he plays.

But, I think the Packers might be lucky to get a 2nd rounder this year, and a provisional 2nd or 3rd for next year, and be happy.

The thing that could reduce that somewhat is if there's a way they can move some of that cap money to the Jets, which I don't know how that would work. It would help the Packers a great deal down the road.

At this point give me a third and a player and I am happy. The situation is over and both sides can move on.

I’m a little surprised there’s no talk of GB sending a pick back to the Jets along with Rodgers. If GB NEEDS 13 (which i think they feel like they do), and the Jets NEED Rodgers (which for all intents and purposes they do) but don’t consider it a fair swap, then what else could GB include to make it fair? Rodgers plus a 3rd plus X? Both teams seem to need these things in order to save face, seems like there should be an accommodation that could be made.

Swap first round picks in 2023 draft
Pack gets 2nd round 2023 draft pick but send a 4th rounder to Jets
Pack gets a conditional 1st rounder in 2025 draft IF Arod plays in 2024-2025 season...

Jets aren't going to give up a lot for a guy that may only last 1 year. That would just be bad business.

Packers don't have as much leverage as they think. But I believe Murphy et al would rather get nothing for Arod and send him into retirement than get less than they think they should...

I think a sticking point could be right now Jets want GB to pay money GB saying no.
