Official Game 1 GB vs Minnesota Thread

We keep hearing about how good this defense could be this year.

This would be a good game to make a statement that says, "We have arrived".

Questions is, "Will they?"

The outcome of this game rests in the hands of the Packers defense, IMO.
Yeah they certainly can’t get spun around in the secondary and wake up in Oz like they did the last time they played there.

If Bakh, Jenkins and Lazard play, I like our chances. Otherwise it could be a battle. We should still win, but it could get interesting.

I do expect our D to look good.

Run Run Run Feed Jones and Dillon give them the ball like 20 times each
Jones is considered #1, but he's always been on a pitch count. He's a little undersized and has been banged up in the past.

I think getting him touches in the passing game helps keep him healthy too. #synergy

I can see Jones be used a lot this year. It's very likely GB will cut him after this year so why not try to get everything you can out of him.

It’s also possible he gets restructured. You don’t put more wear and tear on him. He does not have the build to carry it 25 x per game

Thing is only way to really save money would be to extend him do you want to keep him past 30?

Might be best to let him go after this year let Dillon start and draft another back.
