2016 NFL Free Agents

There's a few guys on this list I'd like to see the Pack keep, and a few more worth making a run at.

You know TT. He only chases FAs who get cut for salary reasons so he doesn't lose comp picks. Guys like......MEGATRON! Go get 'em Teddy!

Of we want to shore up all the weak spots on d Ted double dips at ILB. Johnson and Trevathon!! It shouldn't break the bank and turns weakness into a strength. I'm over drafting mid round guys to disappoint here. Unless jack or smith falls, this would be a dream come true

Just looking at Denver's cap situation and they are in a bit of a situation. They have just under 11 million in Cap Space for 2016 with 25 Free Agents to consider. UFA's include Von Miller, Danny Trevathan, Brandon Marshall, Brock Osweiller, and Vernon Davis to name a few. They are going to lose some big contributors this year for sure.

I still say that signing Danny Trevathan and then drafting Hunter Henry in round 1 or trading up in Round 2 to get him would immediately improve this team. The Packers are sitting on about 22 million in Cap Space for 2016 so they have the money to get Trevathan and still sign some of their own key Free Agents.

TT and staff don't look at just next year bot the next 3 years and contracts due etc... Also if I was you I would go watch more film on Henry. He has some limitations that possibly won't transfer over to the pro game well. Personally have yet to see a impact TE in this draft kind of a crappy year for the position.

What are your concerns with Henry? He caught everything thrown to him, ran good routes, blocked well, has good speed and his size is perfect.

I understand that TT looks at the next three years but at 22 million under the cap he can afford 5 million/year to sign an impact player like Trevathan. He is great in coverage which is what we need. He plays sideline to sideline with the speed we want in an ILB.

i think the bigger issue is that tt doesn't sign ufas. street free agents, yes. undrafted free agents yes. waivers ? rarely. trades? rarely.

but veteran unrestricted free agents? nope.

He does like those cap-cut veterans though, and makes a run at them. It will be interesting to see who might be released this year.

There are a few guy out there, though, who will be uFAs, and I'd be happy just knowing TT took a look and tried making an offer, and the guy turned it down.

Filtering for the Packer's free agents, I think only Crosby is a must-sign.
I think I'd try to keep Starks, Perry and Raji. If we lose Raji, then Guion becomes more valuable.
Kuhn always seems to show up even though he seems replaceable.
